1 · The service

Stackblip provides five free, browser-based developer tools — a JWT decoder, a cron expression builder, a multi-hash generator, an HTTP status code reference, and a conventional commit generator — along with related reference content. There is no account, no fee, and no promise of uptime: the site is offered as a convenience and may evolve, change, or occasionally be unavailable.

2 · Fair use

In short: use the site like a reasonable colleague would.

• Don't use the site, or its output, for anything unlawful.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, attack, or overload it — no scraping at abusive volume, no probing for vulnerabilities outside the responsible-disclosure channel described on the contact page.
• Don't present the tools' output as certified professional advice — security, legal, or otherwise.
• Don't misrepresent the site's origin or remove its notices when referencing it.

3 · Your input

Everything you type or drop into a tool remains entirely yours. Because processing happens in your browser, we never receive, store, or claim any rights over it — you are simply responsible for what you enter, including making sure you're allowed to process any data you paste, and for how you use the output.

4 · Our content

The site's design, text, branding, and code belong to Stackblip. Personal and internal use is welcome without asking. Viewing and learning from the source is actively encouraged — it's half the point of a view-source site. Copying the site wholesale and presenting it as your own work is not.

5 · Advertising & third parties

The site may in the future display a small number of advertisements served by Google AdSense to cover hosting costs; the details, including the cookies involved and your controls, are described in the Privacy Policy. Pages may also link to external resources (specifications, documentation, standards bodies). Those links are references, not endorsements, and we're not responsible for external sites.

6 · No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The tools are built carefully and checked against published test vectors, but software has bugs and specifications change. Verify anything that matters — a release checksum, a production token, a schedule that pages people at 3am — with a second source.

7 · Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stackblip and its author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim — which, since the site is free, is zero.

8 · Changes to the service and these terms

Tools may be added, changed, or retired, and these terms may be updated from time to time. When they are, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page changes with them, and material changes will be described here. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site's author resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, though honestly, for a free toolbox, an email is usually faster and cheaper for everyone.
